So, you’ve recently built a new website or you have had one for a while. Have you ever wondered what you could do to improve it? There are some free tools online that allow you to analyze your site’s performance.

1. Hubspot is a Cambridge-based company that offers SEO (search engine optimization) services. But, they offer much of what they do for free – allowing you to do the work yourself. They have Website and Social Media Graders for free. You can even see how your site stacks up against the competition. You can do it online or download the iPhone/iPad app.
2. Alexa offers website ranking statistics. This will not tell you what is right or wrong with a site. But, it will give you trending and historic information on each site. You can compare competing sites here, as well.
3. Google Analytics allows you to monitor your performance (for your own site) and to create customized reports. This is a very robust tool for website admins.
